Hey coffee lovers and NFT enthusiasts! It’s time to say goodbye to Starbucks Odyssey Beta, the coffee giant’s NFT program. The program allowed users to earn digital stamps by completing coffee-themed challenges, which could then be used to access exclusive benefits and experiences.

The program will officially end on March 31st, and the marketplace where users traded their digital stamps will also be closed. The Discord server will also be gone, so make sure to say goodbye to your fellow coffee-loving NFT buddies!

But don’t worry, you can still hold on to your precious digital stamps. Starbucks has partnered with Nifty Gateway, another NFT marketplace, where you can continue to buy, sell, and transfer your Odyssey stamps.

Why is Starbucks Closing The Program?

Well, the company hasn’t given a clear reason yet. But it’s worth noting that the crypto industry has been facing some tough challenges lately, with several major companies halting their NFT projects.

Starbucks isn’t the only one who’s saying goodbye to NFTs. GameStop recently closed its NFT marketplace, and Meta paused its NFT features on Facebook and Instagram.

But not everyone is giving up on NFTs just yet. Some Web3 experts believe that NFTs will become more valuable and useful in the future, with real-world applications beyond just digital collectibles.

So, what’s next for Starbucks in the world of Web3?

We’ll have to wait and see. But one thing’s for sure: the coffee giant is always looking for new ways to innovate and connect with its customers.

In the meantime, let’s raise a glass to Starbucks’s Odyssey Beta program and all the fun and excitement it brought us. Here’s to more Web3 adventures in the future!
